Is the drum in the picture the drum I will receive?
No, not unless you buy a drum from the “cracked” category where we take a picture of the specific cracks. Due to the high volume of drums we deal in, all photos in the “blemished” or “overstock” category are stock photos, and do not necessarily represent the size of drum you will receive, as most designs are available in multiple sizes. Be sure to use a tape measure to get an accurate gauge on the size of drum you are buying. It would simply be unfeasible for us to take a picture of every drum, sorry for any inconvenience. Rest assured that each drum pictured is an adequate example of what you will receive, minus the individual blemishes. See the picture below for size examples on full size djembes. (please note that the measurements in the picture below are measured as overall head diameter from outside of top ring to outside of top ring, rather than playing surface measurements, which are usually 1/2 to 1 inch smaller.)

Can you take a picture of the individual blemishes?
Due to the extremely discounted nature of the products, it is simply not feasible or cost effective for us to take a picture of every minor blemish. Most customers are extremely pleased with their blemished drums, especially since we would never send something with a flaw that affects the sound performance of the drum unless otherwise noted (such as in the “cracked” category). If you’re okay with minor flaws (ie scuffs, discoloration of the skin) then blemished djembes are for you. (In most instances the drum will get slightly scuffed in the playing process anyway). If you’re looking for something aesthetically perfect, we suggest paying the full retail price.
Is your site secure?
Yes. We use PayPal, which is considered by many to be the most secure way to buy online.
Do I need to have a PayPal account to purchase from your site?
No. During the checkout process, you can bypass logging in to Paypal by clicking the “continue” link towards the left. If you’re having trouble with this, please contact us
Can I purchase with a debit card?
Yes. Paypal allows you to purchase with your debit card.
My card keeps getting rejected, what should I do?
Sometimes Paypal rejects certain cards for no particular reason. If this should occur, please contact us and we will offer alternative payment methods.
Do you accept checks or money orders?
Yes. Please note that we require a 7-10 business day waiting period once the check or money order is received.
Do you take orders over the phone?
Yes. Please note that we will simply go through the check-out process on the site. The only difference is that you give us the credit card number instead of directly to PayPal.
What is your shipping method?
All U.S. packages are shipped via FedEx Ground. All Canadian packages are shipped via UPS Ground. We will NOT ship via USPS because they don’t provide a tracking number (only delivery confirmation). Please do not ask us to use USPS, we will never ship a package without a tracking number. Customers please note: We do not require a signature on shipments unless instructed to do so. We are NOT responsible for stolen packages. If you live in an area where your package could potentially be stolen from your doorstep, please contact us and have us request a signature.
How long will it take for my order to get here?
Generally, if you purchase your items by noon, we will get them shipped out that same business day. From there, FedEx typically takes 3-5 business days for delivery.
What are your shipping charges?
All orders within the contiguous 48 states of America include free FedEx Ground shipping. Please note, free shipping only applies to finalized sales. Canadian, Hawaiian, and Alaskan buyers please contact us BEFORE purchasing your order so we can tally up all necessary charges and facilitate your order.

We ship to the U.S. and Canada. Canadian, Alaskan, and Hawaiian buyers, please read below:
All orders in the lower 48 states of America include free shipping, and are sent via FedEx.
For our Canadian customers, we offer half off of the shipping costs. This does not include brokerage fees incurred at the border. Canadian buyers please contact us BEFORE making a purchase so that we can tally up all necessary charges to facilitate your order in the quickest manner possible. Canadian buyers please note that we only use UPS for Canadian orders-we are unable to use USPS because they do not provide a tracking number.
Hawaiian and Alaskan customers please contact us BEFORE purchasing so we can tally up all necessary charges to facilitate your order. We only use FedEx Ground and NOT USPS because they don’t provide a tracking number. Due to the high shipping rates to Hawaii and Alaska, we cannot be held responsible for any damages if they should occur in transit. To make up for this, we ensure that the package is doubly padded, but please be aware of this before you purchase.
We do not ship outside of the U.S. or Canada due to the extremely high shipping rates.
