Please read the following carefully before purchasing:

What is your shipping method?

All items are shipped via FedEx Ground. Customers please note: We do not require a signature on shipments unless instructed to do so. We are NOT responsible for stolen packages. If you live in an area where your package could potentially be stolen from your doorstep, please contact us and have us request a signature.

What are your shipping charges?

All orders include free FedEx Ground shipping (48 states only). Please note, free shipping only applies to finalized sales and does NOT apply to states outside of the continental United States.

Where do you ship?

We ship to the continental U.S. for free via FedEx Ground.
We do not ship outside of the continental U.S. with the exception of Canada.  Free shipping does NOT apply to Canadian shipments.  Canadians please email us the specific item(s) you are interested in purchasing along with your postal code and we will obtain a Canadian shipping quote.

When will my package arrive?

Packages shipped within the continental U.S. generally take about 3-5 business days for delivery. We will forward the tracking number ONCE to the email provided when the items have been shipped. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their email address is updated, we are not responsible for spam filters or emails that get bounced back as undeliverable.
Customers PLEASE NOTE: We do not require a signature on shipments unless instructed to do so. We are NOT responsible for stolen packages or packages exposed to weather or animals on your doorstep. If you feel it is in your best interest to have a signature required on your package to prevent unattended delivery it is your responsibility to contact us IMMEDIATELY (not an hour later, but immediately) following your purchase and request a signature be required on your package.
Whether a signature is required or not, it is your responsibility to ensure you are available to accept or retrieve the package from the Fedex hub if necessary. If, for any reason, the package is sent back to our location, and you at that point want to cancel the order, we will NOT refund initial shipping costs (as free shipping only applies to final sales) and will only refund the product price minus the initial shipping charges and a 10% restock fee. If the item gets shipped back to our location as a result of your failure to accept and retrieve the package, and you still want the item, you will be required to pay shipping to get it shipped to you again. Therefore if you really want this item, and want to prevent any additional costs and headaches, then please be available to accept the package and retrieve it if necessary. If you do not agree with these shipping terms, then please do NOT buy from us.

What is your return policy?

Please read the following carefully before purchase, as purchasing items on discountdjembes.com constitutes an agreement to the return policy: Due to the significant nature of the Quality # 2 discounts, all Q2 items purchased on discountdjembes.com are not eligible for return. If you are not comfortable with these terms, motherrhythm.com offers drums at retail prices which are eligible for return. Please see our testimonials page in regard to Q2 purchases made by other buyers.  The ONLY returns we accept are on non-discounted Quality # 1 bag and strap purchases.  If you purchased a Q1 bag and find it is too small for your drum, and want a size upgrade, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  Due to the logistical nature of the Post Office not delivering packages directly to our location, DO NOT use the Post office for returns, but rather ship returns via UPS or Fedex both of which will deliver directly to our door step. Once received in the original condition sent (which includes being free of cigarette smoke odors), we will issue you a refund minus the actual shipping amount indicated on our fedex account to ship it to you initially (we wll provide you copied proof af actual shipping charges directly from our fedex account statement).  Free Shipping only applies when transactions are final and does not apply to bag size upgrade returns.  Once the refund minus the shipping is paid to the buyer, the buyer can revisit the discountdjembes.com web site and make a separate bag size upgrade purchase where it will be processed as a separate transaction.

What if my item has been damaged in shipping?

We always do our best to insure that your drum is securely packaged from the time it leaves our warehouse to the time it arrives at your door. However, climatic fluctuations during shipment as well as rough handling by the courier may, on occasion, lead to damages during transit. If this is to occur, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the package and we will schedule a pick-up on our shipping account. Once we receive the damaged item, we will ship you a replacement free of charge. PLEASE NOTE: You must contact us within 1 days (ie 24 hours) from the time the package is delivered to your doorstep in order for shipping damages to be covered. Therefore it is in your best interest to open the package IMMEDIATELY from the time it is delivered to inspect for any damages.

With all this said, we grade our drums very strictly, and it is our pact with you that we will do our very best to make sure everything is good to go with your order, and that you get exactly what was advertised, a great sounding drum at a great price.

If you aren’t comfortable with these terms up front, then you may be better-suited to buying in a local retail music shop where you can handle the drums and make the decision on which drum you want in person. However, be prepared to pay considerably more for that advantage. We do our best to afford you as many comforts in the buying process as are possible while keeping prices low. We hope that you will grow to trust us and come back for future transactions!
