Drum measures 25-26 inches tall with a 14-15 inch overall head diameter, and a 12.5-13.5 inch playing surface. Made from one-piece sustainably-harvested mahogany, goat skin, and non-stretch internally-braided rope.
Professional Djembe Features:
- Three-ring system at the head for elimination of skin slippage and more stable tuning system
- Untreated goat skin
- Lateral-groove rough-surfaced carvings on the shell\‘s interior bowl to reduce overtones.
- A total of 35 rope-runner pairs (70 total laterals) provides more stable and even tuning.
